
Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: Saudi Arabia secured 19 spots on the Forbes Middle East Top 100 Travel and Tourism Leaders 2024 list, following UAE which dominated 54 entries.
Leaders of the Saudi Tourism Authority (STA), Matarat Holding, and Diriyah Company were selected among the top 10 in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
The list also included leaders of Saudia, Red Sea Global, Cruise Saudi, Jabal Omar Development Company (JODC), Al Hokair Group, Sela, Flynas, AlUla Development Company, Boutique Group, Neom Hotel Division, the Royal Commission for AlUla (RCU), Elaf Group, Taiba Investments, Darent, and Almosafer.
Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Egypt, which dominated nine entries, accounted for 82% of the list.
With 50 entries, hotels and resorts make up the bulk of the list. Airlines and tourism development follow in popularity in the list, at 17 and 11 entries, respectively.
