Chamber's initiatives show a 135% increase in digital startups, strengthening Dubai’s tech ecosystem

Dubai – Sharikat Mubasher: The Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, part of the Dubai Chambers network, announced its support for the establishment and expansion of 127 digital startups in the emirate during the first quarter of 2025.

According to a recent press release, this represents a 135% growth compared to the same period last year, highlighting the Chamber's efforts to strengthen Dubai's position as a leading hub for tech startups.

In Q1 2025, the Chamber hosted four events aimed at empowering startups, nurturing talent, and fostering partnerships. Additionally, 729 participants were trained in digital skill development programs to enhance the readiness of tech talent for the future digital economy.

The Chamber continued its efforts to support companies aiming to launch or expand in Dubai through the "Business in Dubai" platform, which offers a range of corporate and operational services. The platform's partner base expanded with 20 new service providers, bringing the total number of partners to 114.

Omar Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications, emphasized the Chamber’s role in enhancing Dubai's position as a global digital economy center, in line with the vision of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Al Olama also noted the Chamber's commitment to accelerating digital transformation and promoting Dubai as a primary destination for tech investments and innovation.

In Q1 2025, the Chamber organized 12 global market tours to showcase Dubai’s advanced digital business environment and promote the "Expand North Star" exhibition, the largest global event for startups and investors, set for October 12-15.
