Nemetschek Group and Nesma Infrastructure signed an MoU to drive digital transformation in Saudi construction and infrastructure sectors

Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: Nesma Infrastructure & Technology (NIT), a leading Saudi infrastructure and technology company, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Nemetschek Group, a global leader in software solutions for the architecture, engineering, construction, and operations (AEC/O) industry, to accelerate the digital transformation of Saudi Arabia’s construction and infrastructure sectors.

Under this MoU, both parties will join efforts to implement cutting-edge digital solutions, including building information modeling (BIM), digital twins, and open standards, across large-scale infrastructure projects throughout the Kingdom, the company announced in a recent statement.

This partnership aims to enhance project efficiency, sustainability, and innovation in the AEC/O industry.

Commenting on this milestone, Fouad Alsherebi, Chairman of Nesma Infrastructure & Technology, said: “Partnering with the Nemetschek Group aligns perfectly with our strategic vision to lead the digital transformation in Saudi Arabia’s infrastructure sector. Together, we will leverage advanced technologies to enhance project delivery, operational efficiency, and contribute to the Kingdom’s sustainable development goals.”

For his part, Muayad Simbawa, Managing Director of Nemetschek Saudi Arabia, affirmed that the partnership represents a significant step in the company’s commitment to supporting the Saudi Vision 2030.

“By combining Nemetschek’s global expertise in digital construction technologies with NIT’s deep understanding of the local market, we aim to deliver transformative solutions that will redefine the construction landscape in the Kingdom,” Simbawa added.

Moreover, the MoU outlines joint initiatives in areas such as smart city development, digital infrastructure planning, and workforce upskilling in digital construction methodologies.
