Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: Moyasar Financial Company, a leading provider of digital payment solutions in Saudi Arabia, announced the activation of the Samsung Pay service on the Moyasar Payment Gateway (MPG) in partnership with Jahez, in a bid to empower the Saudi market with innovative, integrated digital payment solutions.
This move follows MPG’s completion of all required technical accreditations for the new National E-Commerce Payment Interface announced by the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA), Moyasar revealed in a statement yesterday.
The gateway supports recurring payment functionality for e-commerce transactions using Apple Pay and Samsung Pay, across all Mada and international cards, ensuring a streamlined and reliable experience for merchants and consumers alike.
MPG also enables seamless integration with global card schemes such as Visa and Mastercard via the new national interface to ensure a unified and consistent payment processing across all networks for e-commerce platforms.
Moreover, the gateway offers advanced authorization and capture features, especially for sectors that rely on reservations or delayed payments, such as hospitality, car rentals, and logistics, to improve user experience and enhance operational efficiency.
In 2024, Moyasar launched the MPG to boost the fintech sector and strengthen its leading role in offering inclusive digital payment services across Saudi Arabia.
