The Egyptian education group eyes Saudi Arabia as a gateway to wider Gulf and global expansion

Riyadh – Sharikat Mubaser: Egypt Education Platform (EEP) is set to manage four existing schools in Riyadh beginning September 2026 and will launch two new schools in the Saudi capital by September 2027, according to Ahmed Wahby, CEO of EEP.

In an interview with Asharq Business, Wahby said the company aims to build a strong presence in Saudi Arabia as a springboard for further expansion across the Gulf and into wider regional and international markets.

Regarding its operations in Egypt, Wahby noted that EEP’s strategy involves adding two to three schools annually, with a focus on reaching new governorates. The company plans to open a school in Soma Bay in September 2026, along with four additional schools in Cairo and another governorate.

Egypt Education Platform (EEP) is a visionary pioneer in the education sector in Egypt with a strategic approach in learning paradigms and a dedication to providing quality education programs. Established in 2018 and backed up by a diverse group of renowned investors, namely EFG Hermes, the Sovereign Fund of Egypt, and GEMS Education, EEP is determined in its commitment to excellence and continuous collaboration with local and international entities to elevate its educational offerings.
