Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: ROSHN Group and Jahez, the leading online food delivery platform, launched the first fully autonomous delivery service in Saudi Arabia.

The launching ceremony was held at ROSHN Front in the presence of Rumaih Al-Rumaih, Vice Minister of Transport and Logistic Services and Acting President of the Transport General Authority (TGA), the company announced in a statement today.

This milestone reflects ROSHN’s vision to foster innovation and accelerate the adoption of smart technologies to enhance operational efficiency under the ROSHNEXT program, the innovation arm of ROSHN Group.

Through this program, ROSHN Group aims to deploy five autonomous robots developed by the Emerging Technologies team in the Information Technology and Digital function of the Group in collaboration with Jahez. This will facilitate access to food services within the ROSHN Front's Business Area during working hours.

Al-Rumaih emphasized the ministry’s commitment to accelerating the adoption of cutting-edge technologies in the transportation sector.

Moreover, the launch of the autonomous delivery service aligns with the ministry’s strategy to develop a smart transportation ecosystem that enhances the quality of life and promotes sustainability.
