
Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) launched the third edition of the Technology Adoption Initiative (AdopTech) to accelerate the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) and other emerging technologies.
The ministry announced in a statement today that the new edition aims to support the implementation of 15 projects showcasing use cases of AI and emerging technologies within key industrial and logistics facilities.
The AdopTech initiative was designed to build an operational environment conducive to innovation and accelerate the adoption of Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies. The third phase focuses on empowering tech companies and entrepreneurs to provide innovative solutions that address real-world operational challenges in targeted sectors.
Proof-of-concept projects will be implemented in partnership with selected industrial and logistics facilities to promote technology role in enhancing business efficiency and raising the competitiveness of vital economic sectors.
The AdopTech initiative further aims to deepen partnerships between the public and private sectors in developing and deploying digital solutions.
Moreover, participants will be able to test and develop their technology solutions in practical settings, ultimately elevating their readiness for broader deployment and market growth.
