
Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: The King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language has wrapped up its inaugural “Arabic Language Innovation Accelerator” in Riyadh, aimed at supporting startups and entrepreneurs in language technologies through training, mentorship, and investment opportunities.
The program, launched in January 2025, drew 195 project applications, with 81 advancing to the training bootcamp and 15 reaching the final stage. Winners included Sawt in first place, followed by Arabius, Abjadpulse, LangCall, and Asma’ Bi Yadi.
Abdullah Al-Washmi, Secretary-General, said the accelerator is a key initiative to empower startups in language technology, highlighting partnerships with innovation-focused entities to prepare projects for investment. The initiative also seeks to boost Arabic digital content and linguistic innovation in line with Saudi Vision 2030 goals in education, technology, and entrepreneurship.
