Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Saudi Arabia’s General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises (Monsha’at) launched a five-day tour of the Silicon Valley entrepreneurship ecosystem in California, accompanied by six fast-growing Saudi companies from various sectors.
The initiative is part of Monsha’at’s wider program to support potential billion-dollar companies and enable their international expansion, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency.
On the first day, Monsha’at organized four sessions and workshops with venture capital leaders and founders of global unicorns. The sessions focused on helping Saudi companies refine their business plans, strengthen expansion strategies, build international networks, and prepare for potential IPO pathways.
The tour also included a visit to Stanford University, a key hub for startup innovation whose research and alumni have contributed to the creation of major global companies. The first day concluded with a dinner gathering attended by prominent entrepreneurs and leaders from top unicorn companies worldwide.
This visit is part of a broader series of international engagements designed to spotlight promising Saudi companies and provide founders with opportunities to expand their global networks by connecting with industry and entrepreneurship leaders from around the world.
