
Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Expo 2030 Riyadh announced awarding its Main Utilities and Civil Works package to Nesma & Partners, marking a key milestone as the project moves from early preparation into large-scale construction.
As per the Company’s press release, the package focuses on preparing the Expo site for upcoming development phases and ensuring it can support the operational needs of the event.
Works include the construction of internal roads and the installation of core infrastructure networks that will underpin the entire site. Around 50 kilometers of utilities will be delivered, covering water and sewage systems, EV charging infrastructure, and electrical and communication networks, forming the backbone for future buildings and public spaces.
Talal Al-Marri, CEO of Expo 2030 Riyadh Company, said the contract represents an important step in accelerating construction activity on site. He noted that early delivery of critical infrastructure will enable safe and coordinated development across future phases, while supporting a long-term legacy beyond 2030.
