Integration allows travellers to search hotels and build itineraries through AI-driven dialogue

Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Saudi travel company Almosafer announced it has launched its consumer services on the ChatGPT platform, becoming the first application from the Kingdom to integrate its offerings with the global AI interface developed by OpenAI.

The move forms part of Almosafer’s digital-first strategy aimed at enhancing customer experience through AI-powered conversational travel planning. Through the integration, travelers can now explore and book accommodation by interacting directly with the Almosafer app inside ChatGPT, according to the company’s press release.

Users can access a global inventory of more than 1.5 million hotels, receive personalized recommendations, and build multi-city itineraries through natural conversations in Arabic or English. The AI-powered interface can interpret travel preferences—such as family-friendly options or proximity to key landmarks—allowing travellers to discover and plan trips without navigating traditional booking menus.

Muzzammil Ahussain, Chief Executive Officer, described the launch as a milestone for both Almosafer and the Kingdom’s digital economy, noting that the company continues to prioritize innovation to simplify travel planning and make it more accessible through advanced technologies.

The Almosafer app is now live for users on ChatGPT. The initiative also aligns with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 by supporting digital transformation and strengthening Saudi Arabia’s position as a global destination for tourism and technology-driven services.
