Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Tether, a digital asset company, announced it has partnered with First Advanced Data for Artificial Intelligence (First Data), a Saudi technology and financial services provider, and BKN301, a digital payments infrastructure company, to accelerate the tokenization of institutional-grade real estate assets in Saudi Arabia.
Under the collaboration, Hadron by Tether, Tether’s asset-tokenization platform, will serve as the core technology infrastructure for issuing, managing, and administering tokenized real estate assets throughout their lifecycle.
First Data will act as the commercial lead, issuer, and primary market operator, while BKN301 will provide integration, banking connectivity, front-end, orchestration, and operational support to embed Hadron within First Data’s infrastructure.
The initiative aims to improve access to real estate investment, unlock liquidity in traditionally illiquid assets, and support greater participation from local and international investors.
The partnership also aligns with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 objectives for financial and digital transformation. The companies said the model could eventually expand beyond real estate into other real-world assets, including energy and infrastructure.
Paolo Ardoino, Tether CEO, said Saudi Arabia offers a strong market for demonstrating the potential of real-world asset tokenization and expanding access to investment opportunities.
