Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: Riyadh Air, the new digitally native Saudi airline, concluded a multi-year partnership with the FIFA Confederation of North, Central America, and Caribbean Association Football (Concacaf) to become its official airline partner.
As the official airline partner, Riyadh Air will support all the Confederation’s national and club competitions across North America, Central America, and the Caribbean, supporting the growth of men’s, women’s, and youth football, according to the airline’s statement.
This partnership reflects the shared commitment of both entities to excellence and connectivity. It expands Riyadh Air’s presence in the global sport, complementing the airline’s existing collaboration with Athlético de Madrid, announced in August 2023.
Osamah Alnuaiser, SVP of Marketing and Corporate Communications at Riyadh Air, affirmed that the partnership with Concacaf will bring football fans closer to thrilling games and action in countries and territories in the Concacaf region.
“As the ‘Official Airline Partner’ of Concacaf, we are committed to developing the sport, enshrining our shared values of excellence in the skies and on the field,” Alnuaiser added.
For his part, Philippe Moggio, General Secretary of Concacaf, said: “We are excited about the opportunities this partnership will create, connecting fans across continents and inspiring them to passionately follow the beautiful game.”
Set to start operations in 2025, Riyadh Air aims to connect Saudi Arabia with 100 destinations around the world by 2030, in alignment with Vision 2030’s goal of positioning the Kingdom as a global hub for business and leisure travel.
