The Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) announced the launching of the "Thakai" platform, a first-of-its-kind integrated AI data and content-sharing knowledge hub, designed to unite AI experts and enthusiasts around the world.
The new platform has been developed in partnership with prestigious academic institutions, think tanks, and global companies, including UC Berkeley, King Saud University, Chatham House, the International Data Corporation (IDC), and PwC, as per SDAIA’s statement.
This launching event came as part of the Global AI Summit (GAIN) running from the 10th to the 12th of September at King Abdulaziz International Convention Centre, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The Global AI Summit aims to address the difficult questions facing the development of artificial intelligence, to ensure that its potential is transformed into a tangible reality that benefits all of humanity.
