Riyadh – Exclusive Sharikat Mubasher: Maryam Kutob, General Director of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center at the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah told Sharikat Mubasher that this is the Ministry’s second time to participate in the Biban Conference.
Through the ‘Empowerment Door’, the Ministry aims with this participation to support and empower entrepreneurs working already in major and minor pilgrimage sectors, or those who are interested in entering this business field, Kutob added.
The official also pointed out that the Ministry is willing to announce the ‘Sustainable Solutions Challenge for pilgrims’, which urges business owners and people with efficient ideas to introduce solutions for 5-6 challenges that face pilgrims generally.
The official further asserted that the Ministry seeks, through its participation in Biban, to look for innovative businesses and creative solutions that are feasible to apply during the coming season of Hajj.
Worth mentioning that Biban 2024, Saudi Arabia’s flagship event for startups and entrepreneurs, kicked off last Tuesday under the theme ‘Global Destination for Opportunities,’ with the participation of more than 1,350 local and international exhibitors, over 250 speakers, and more than 150 enablement entities from around the world.
