
Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: UmrahCash, a leading Saudi fintech platform, inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Muttawffys of Arabs Hajj Company (Ashraqat) to enhance pilgrimage services for millions of Hajj and Umrah visitors to Saudi Arabia.
The partnership agreement, signed during the Hajj Conference and Exhibition, focuses on enhancing Islamic financial inclusion and aims to provide seamless, efficient, and innovative solutions for pilgrims, the fintech company announced in a press release today.
This collaboration reflects both entities’ vision of improving the overall pilgrimage experience by modernizing and expanding the financial and logistical services available to pilgrims.
Both parties will join efforts to address long-standing challenges facing millions of travelers, such as limited access to local currency and outdated service systems.
Under this partnership, UmrahCash will expand its infrastructure to enable Ashraqat’s partners and pilgrims to access local currency easily in Saudi Arabia, reducing reliance on inefficient or costly financial channels.
Additionally, UmrahCash and Ashraqat will work on developing innovative services and solutions, combining Ashraqat’s extensive experience in Hajj services with UmrahCash’s leading-edge fintech capabilities.
