
Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: The opening day of the Future Hospitality Summit 2025 witnessed the signing of several high-profile agreements to add over 1,000 new hotel rooms, in a move to boost the Saudi hospitality sector.
The agreements included new developments in Jeddah, Madinah, and Qassim, underscoring sustained investor confidence in the Kingdom’s ambitious tourism expansion plans.
BWH Hotels announced its partnership with Optimal Real Estate and Rsoukh Trading Company to develop five new properties in Jeddah and Madinah as part of its regional expansion strategy.
Under this partnership, BWH Hotels will establish a 540-room Best Western Premier property in Madinah and a luxury WorldHotels Elite property on King Road in Jeddah, featuring 215 guest rooms and 300 office units.
Three additional hotels will be introduced under BWH’s SureStay brand, its economy and midscale portfolio, including two SureStay Studios and one SureStay Hotel.
Further, Amsa Hospitality revealed a new four-star hotel in Qassim in collaboration with Alkayan Alarabi. The new hotel will be located within the Al-Kayan Avenue mall and will feature 174 keys, including suites, meeting rooms, a gym, two restaurants, and a spa.
IHG Hotels & Resorts and Ashaad Company also signed an agreement to develop three new hotels in Jeddah and Alkhobar.
The Future Hospitality Summit 2025 takes place from 11 to 13 May with the participation of 37 countries and 150 speakers. It brings together more than 1,000 global tourism leaders, investors, and operators to showcase the industry’s growing focus on talent development.
