Riyadh - Exclusive Sharikat Mubasher: The Saudi services sector is witnessing a strong wave of digital transformation, with annual growth rates ranging from 10 to 12%, according to Abdulrahman Alomran, CEO and Co-founder of Rekaz, a Saudi-based digital reservation and subscription management platform.

Speaking to Sharikat Mubasher on the sidelines of Biban 2025, Alomran noted that the sector’s growth rates have increased fourfold compared to previous years, reflecting the pivotal role of promising, high-yield projects in bolstering the sector.

He affirmed that the Kingdom’s advanced technological infrastructure has significantly accelerated this transformation, driven by the development of e-payment platforms and the rise of AI-powered solutions that have revolutionized the virtual services industry.

Alomran highlighted that one of the key challenges facing service projects today lies in delivering services online. He explained that the retail sector is somewhat simpler as it depends on direct product sales and delivery, whereas services involve multiple stages and on-ground execution, making digital transformation in this area more complex.

Rekaz specializes in digital reservation and subscription management for service establishments such as gyms, salons, academies, and medical clinics. It targets enabling clients to seamlessly manage operations electronically, ultimately enhancing their competitiveness in Saudi Arabia’s growing services sector.

Biban 2025 took place in Riyadh from 5 to 8 November, gathering startup founders, investors, global CEOs, policymakers, and thought leaders. It welcomed over 200 local and global speakers and 1,000 exhibitors from 150 countries to spark strategic partnerships, unveil new agreements, and create financing, training, and advisory solutions to accelerate the growth of startups and SMEs.
