Partnership focuses on boosting entrepreneurship with seamless payment solutions and expert guidance

Dubai – Sharikat Mubasher: PayPal announced a partnership with Ignyte, a digital platform supporting startups and SMBs, to enhance cross-border payment solutions in the UAE and the broader Middle East.

As a founding partner of Ignyte, PayPal will help entrepreneurs manage payments more efficiently, enabling smoother international transactions and digital growth, as per a recent press release.

The collaboration aligns with PayPal's ongoing efforts to promote innovation and entrepreneurship in the region. Launched in October 2024 as part of the Dubai Digital Economy Strategy, Ignyte offers founders access to mentorship, investors, and over 250 exclusive perks from corporate partners. The platform aims to position the UAE as a global hub for startups and digital transformation.

Otto Williams, PayPal's Senior Vice President for the Middle East and Africa  commented: "The UAE is rapidly cementing its status as a global tech powerhouse. Our partnership with Ignyte reflects our commitment to empowering startups and SMBs, helping them scale their businesses across borders."

Through the partnership, PayPal will provide tailored support and exclusive offers to startups within the Ignyte ecosystem, simplifying financial operations. The collaboration will also include industry events focused on digital commerce trends and growth opportunities.

Ignyte aims to empower 100,000 startups with resources to expand globally. Mohammad Alblooshi, CEO of DIFC Innovation Hub added: "Our collaboration with PayPal strengthens our ability to provide startups with the essential tools they need to grow, attract investment, and compete globally.”

As the UAE drives entrepreneurial growth, PayPal and Ignyte's partnership is expected to enhance financial services and foster a stronger, more inclusive startup ecosystem.
