Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Saudi Arabia’s internet sector is undergoing a rapid digital transformation, fueled by growing tech-savviness and the steady expansion of digital infrastructure.
According to the Saudi Internet 2024 report issued by the Communications, Space and Technology Commission (CST), 21.5% of internet users across the Kingdom are actively engaging with artificial intelligence applications.
Young adults aged 20 to 29 are leading the trend, with 27.3% using AI tools, a clear sign of how this generation is leveraging technology to enhance daily life, whether for work, education, or entertainment.
The CST report attributes this rising adoption to the wide availability of AI-powered solutions, including smart translation services, virtual assistants, content creation tools, and data analytics platforms. This growing integration of AI into everyday life further cements Saudi Arabia’s role as a regional leader in innovation and digital advancement.
Published annually, Saudi Internet 2024 remains a key resource for tracking internet usage trends and user behavior across the Kingdom.
