Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: HUMAIN, Saudi Arabia’s newly formed national artificial intelligence company backed by the Public Investment Fund (PIF), launched HUMAIN Chat, a conversational AI application built on its latest Arabic language model, ALLaM 34B.
As per the company’s press release, the app, now available exclusively to users inside the Kingdom, marks the first opportunity for the public to try the ALLaM 34B model.
Designed to serve more than 400 million Arabic speakers and two billion Muslims worldwide, it features real-time web search, Arabic speech input across multiple dialects, seamless switching between Arabic and English, and full compliance with Saudi data protection laws.
According to AI benchmark tests, ALLaM 34B is the most advanced Arabic large language model developed in the Arab world to date. The model was created by more than 120 AI specialists, including 35 PhDs, and refined with input from hundreds of regional experts to ensure cultural authenticity.
HUMAIN Chat will gradually expand access to users across the Middle East before a wider international rollout. The launch underscores Saudi Arabia’s growing ambition to build sovereign AI capabilities and position itself as a hub for Arabic-centric generative AI.
