
Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Digital health startup DawaDose announced the closure of its pre-seed funding round with angel investors, marking a key step in its expansion into Saudi Arabia.
With the new capital, the company is setting up its headquarters in the Kingdom, positioning it as the central hub for development and operations, as per the company’s announcement on LinkedIn.
DawaDose aims to build the Middle East’s first fully integrated B2C and B2B digital pharmaceutical ecosystem, connecting pharmacies, drugstores, and consumers through secure and accessible healthcare solutions.
Rushdi Abdalghani, Co-founder and CEO, said the funding represents trust in the company’s vision to digitize healthcare access across the region, beginning in Saudi Arabia. Osama Almabroum, Co-founder and Business Development Lead, added that DawaDose is being built as a Saudi company with global ambitions, with this milestone marking the first step in reshaping pharmaceutical e-commerce.
