$35 million fund to back seven family entertainment centers across key locations

Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Saudi Arabia’s Safari Group is planning to launch a real estate investment fund worth EGP 2 billion (approximately $35 million) in partnership with Egypt-based PMaestro, aiming to roll out seven entertainment centers under the Chuck E. Cheese brand over the next four years.

The project will be implemented under a partnership model, with PMaestro responsible for managing operations, according to Ali Al Sagri, CEO of Unique Hospitality Co., Safari Group’s hospitality arm, in remarks to Economy Plus.

Execution is already underway, with the first branch launched in February at Royal Park in Sheikh Zayed City. The group is currently working with real estate developers and investors to finalize locations for the remaining six sites.

Mohammed Mounir, Founder and Managing Director of PMaestro, noted that the fund’s total investment could reach around $35 million, with an average of $5 million allocated per center. A new branch is also planned for New Cairo’s Fifth Settlement in the near term.

Safari Group holds a diversified investment portfolio of around 18 companies spanning sectors including construction, real estate, technology, tourism, and food and beverage. Its subsidiary, Unique Hospitality Co., oversees its restaurant and entertainment ventures and has an established regional presence in Saudi Arabia and Turkey, recently expanding into Egypt through the Chuck E. Cheese concept, which combines family entertainment with dining experiences.
