
Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: The Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority (Monsha’at) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Environment Fund to empower startups in the environment sector.
According to the official statement, the MoU was signed by Saud Al-Sabhan, Monsha’at Vice Governor for Entrepreneurship, and Fahad Alaboud, Chief Shared Services Officer at the Environment Fund, on the sidelines of the Environment Thon (Envirothon 2026), a technical competition focused on the intersection of environmental science and computational modeling to address critical ecological challenges.
The agreement aims to strengthen cooperation between the two entities to scale the environmental sector by exchanging expertise and data, and stimulate environmental projects and initiatives, ultimately achieving economic sustainability in line with Vision 2030.
The fields of cooperation include organizing innovative hackathons and events, sharing data on top-priority environmental sectors, and activating incentive programs that support innovative environmental projects.
This partnership underscores Monsha’at’s ongoing efforts to promote partnerships that support innovation and enhance SMEs’ benefit from available opportunities in the sector.
