Study highlights growing readiness for AI adoption as the Kingdom marks the Year of AI

Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Salesforce has released a new study showing that office workers in Saudi Arabia are among the most receptive to artificial intelligence globally, with only 15% expressing skepticism toward the technology.

The survey, conducted with YouGov and covering more than 1,500 office workers across four continents, comes as Saudi Arabia marks 2026 as the “Year of AI” and continues to advance its digital transformation ambitions under Vision 2030.

According to the findings, employees who have successfully integrated AI into their daily workflows cited data security, role-specific AI capabilities, and seamless user experiences as the key factors driving adoption. Among these workers, 69% identified data security as essential, while 60% emphasized the importance of AI tools being integrated into existing workplace applications.

Mohammed AlKhotani, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Salesforce Middle East, said Saudi Arabia’s workforce is approaching AI from a position of confidence. He noted that the challenge for business leaders is no longer convincing employees of AI’s value, but providing the security, training, and practical experiences needed to turn that confidence into measurable productivity gains.
