Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: noon payments announced it has obtained the Payment Technical Service Provider (PTSP) certification from the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA), marking a key regulatory milestone that strengthens its position in Saudi Arabia’s digital payments sector.
As per a recent press release, the certification confirms that noon payments complies with SAMA’s regulatory requirements for Payment Technical Service Providers under the e-commerce Merchant Service Provider (eMSP) framework. It validates the company’s adherence to technical, operational, security, and governance standards designed to ensure reliable and secure payment services.
The achievement reinforces noon payments’ efforts to provide businesses with secure transaction processing, robust data protection measures, and high system availability as demand for digital commerce continues to grow across the Kingdom.
Mosam Gadia, SVP at noon payments, said the certification reflects the company’s commitment to compliance, security, and building advanced payment infrastructure in Saudi Arabia. He added that the milestone will help the company better support merchants, partners, and the broader digital economy while aligning with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 objectives.
The certification also strengthens noon payments’ ability to expand its services to businesses of all sizes, supporting digital transformation initiatives and contributing to Saudi Arabia’s shift toward a less-cash economy.
