
Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Kuwait-based Trolley General Trading Company, a modern retail platform listed on Boursa Kuwait's Premier Market, is stepping up its expansion in Saudi Arabia after adding 17 new stores in the Kingdom during the first half of 2026.
As per a recent press release, the retailer expanded its network by a total of 25 stores across Kuwait and Saudi Arabia between January and June, including eight outlets in Kuwait, bringing its total footprint to 259 stores by the end of June.
Saudi Arabia remained the company's fastest-growing market, with retail revenue rising 56.9% year on year, reflecting the momentum of its expansion strategy in the Kingdom. Looking ahead to the second half of 2026, Trolley said it will continue opening stores in high-potential locations, while strengthening operational efficiency through its centralized distribution model and enhancing the customer experience across its physical stores and e-commerce channels.
Commenting on the outlook, Mohammad Yaqoub Boodai, Group Chief Executive Officer and Vice Chairman, said Saudi Arabia remains a key pillar of the company's long-term growth strategy, with the retailer focused on disciplined expansion and capturing new growth opportunities.
