Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: Snowflake, the AI data cloud company, announced the launch of its ‘Snowflake for Startups’ program, designed to empower Saudi startup founders with the necessary tools, infrastructure, and strategic support to develop enterprise AI applications at scale.

The program will provide founders with a secure data and AI platform ready to operate in production environments, helping them accelerate innovation in line with national priorities, the company said in a press release today.

The initiative aligns with Vision 2030’s objectives to increase the contribution of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to gross domestic product (GDP) from 20% to 35%, placing digital innovation at the heart of the Kingdom’s economic diversification.

Michel Nader, general manager for the Middle East, Turkey & Africa (META) at Snowflake, said the Kingdom is building a strong foundation for AI-driven enterprises, helping them to scale locally and compete globally.

He asserted that the Snowflake for Startups program provides founders with a secure, data-compliant platform that helps them accelerate innovation.

The Snowflake for Startups program enables early-stage startups to seamlessly access managed AI capabilities by providing self-access to enterprise AI infrastructure within Snowflake’s secure environment. This will help startups build, test, and deploy AI applications and agents without allocating resources to manage complex infrastructure.
