
Riyadh– Sharikat Mubasher: South Korea and Saudi Arabia held the 2026 Korea-Saudi Business and Investment Forum in Seoul on 6 October to expand cooperation in advanced industries, telecommunications, media, healthcare, logistics, infrastructure and construction, in line with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.
Organized by the Federation of Korean Industries and Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF), the forum was held under the sponsorship of Korea’s Ministry of Trade, Industry and Resources and brought together around 250 business representatives from both countries, as reported by Yonhap News Agency.
The Saudi delegation included around 20 major companies, including Ceer, Saudi Arabia’s first electric vehicle manufacturer, telecommunications company stc, and Saudi Arabian Military Industries.
Around 90 Korean companies also participated, including firms already working with Saudi Arabia and those seeking new business opportunities.
Korean Trade Minister Park Jung-sung said the two countries should use the AI transition as an opportunity to accelerate cooperation in advanced industries and strengthen institutional ties, including by speeding up the implementation of the Korea-GCC Free Trade Agreement.
