Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: Folk Maritime, one of the region’s leading feeder and short-sea services providers, aims to run four services before the end of 2024, with plans to expand its services coverage in the Middle East, Indian subcontinent, and East Africa to six services in 2025, CEO Poul Hestbaek unveiled.

The PIF-owned company aims to become a major player in the shipping and logistics sectors, the CEO stated in an interview with Asharq Business on the sidelines of the Global Logistics Forum 2024.

He clarified that the company is gearing up to launch a new route from India to the Gulf with 10 cargo ships.

Folk Maritime targets delivering innovative, cost-effective, and customer-centric solutions to mainline shippers, triggered by its commitment to redefining the future of the feeder and liner shipping industry.
