Riyadh – Exclusive Sharikat Mubaser: On the sidelines of the Biban 24 Conference, Saqer Alqarni, CEO of Tanafos, spoke to Sharikat Mubasher, introducing Tanafos as a non-profit sector procurement management platform.
Tanafos works as an intermediary electronic platform with the aim of collecting purchase requests from non-profit sector entities and providing the opportunity for suppliers to submit their commercial offers.
Alqarni added that Tanafos plays the role of a middleman for associations, as the platform provides a database of suppliers, and a direct connection with the National Center for Non-Profit Sector (NCNP) to facilitate governing operations of these associations instead of walking the traditional way of launching tenders, search for suppliers, study quotations...etc.
Speaking on Biban 24, Alqarni asserted that this event went from being a local gathering to becoming a global conference, through which Tanafos Platform would be able to send a message to suppliers in the non-profit sector that there is an efficient platform can manage procurement and make a difference inside the market.
Expected to welcome over 160,000 visitors, Biban 2024, which runs in Riyadh from 5 to 9 November, will provide 10,000 investment and entrepreneurial opportunities, 420 workshops for over 19,000 beneficiaries, and consultation and guidance sessions for more than 5,000 beneficiaries.
