Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: Artificial Intelligence (AI) is revolutionizing industries worldwide, serving as a catalyst for innovation and efficiency. From healthcare to finance, manufacturing to energy, AI empowers businesses to process vast amounts of data, automate complex tasks, and unlock new opportunities.

Amin Nasser, President and CEO of Saudi Aramco, affirmed that AI has enabled the company to discover more gas and oil by significantly reducing the time required to run seismic operations from days to hours.

Speaking during a panel discussion titled “Industries in the Intelligent Age” at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting 2025, Nasser emphasized that AI is a transformative force across all industries. He highlighted AI's potential to tackle global challenges, ranging from energy security to healthcare. However, he cautioned that responsible deployment is essential to prevent exacerbating inequalities.

The World Economic Forum Annual Meeting 2025 began on 20 January in Davos, gathering global leaders to address global and regional challenges. These include responding to geopolitical shocks, stimulating growth to improve living standards, and stewarding a just and inclusive energy transition.
