Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: The Saudi-based education technology (EdTech) startup, Taawoni, successfully closed a $1.6 million investment round led by M Capital, with participation from other supporting investors.
This funding will enable Taawoni to drive innovation, expand market presence, and achieve deeper integration into the education and HR tech ecosystems across the region, the company announced in a recent statement.
Founded in 2021 by Aliyah Alghubayn, Taawoni transforms how universities and organizations collaborate by automating cooperative training (Co-op) programs that connect near-graduation students with public and private sector organizations, streamlining onboarding, tracking, and evaluation processes.
Taawoni also offers AI-powered internal Learning & Mentorship Platforms (LMPs) tailored to support professional development across all sectors.
