Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: Elm, a leading digital solutions provider in Saudi Arabia, forged a strategic partnership with Shory Group, one of the fastest-growing AI insurtech firms in the region, to enhance the experience of travelers from Saudi Arabia to the UAE.
This collaboration will enable travelers journeying by land from the Kingdom to the UAE to access seamless vehicle insurance options, marking a significant advancement in regional digital integration, the company announced in a statement yesterday.
By enabling integration with Saudi government digital platforms that provide secure e-services, travelers will now be able to purchase insurance online before reaching the UAE border.
Abdulelah Alghofaili, Co-Founder and CEO of Shory Group, stated that the partnership with Elm underscores the company’s mission to simplify the insurance experience through innovation and technology.
“By integrating our services with trusted government digital channels in Saudi Arabia, we are not only making insurance more accessible for travelers between Saudi Arabia and the UAE, but also actively supporting the UAE government’s ICP initiative to enhance digitalization and improve the border experience,” he added.
This collaboration builds on the success of Aber, Shory’s digital insurance platform launched in 2022 to serve land travelers entering the UAE. It has already achieved strong adoption, with 60% of users opting for online insurance by 2025. The integration with government digital platforms is expected to accelerate this trend further, making the process even more accessible and familiar to users in Saudi Arabia.
