
Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: SAL Logistics Services, Saudi Arabia’s national leader in logistics and supply chain management, signed a training solutions agreement with EgyptAir Training Academy to enhance workforce readiness in the air transport sector.
The agreement was signed by Saleh Aldaini, Chief Executive Officer of Shared Services at SAL, and Walid Suleiman, President of EgyptAir Training Academy, the company announced in a recent statement.
Under this agreement, both parties will collaborate over an initial 12-month period to develop advanced, internationally accredited training programs that empower the workforce in the air transport sector. They will explore opportunities for technical exchange and operational expertise in various areas, including simulator-based training, performance assessment, and the use of virtual reality technologies in specialized training programs.
Further, SAL and EgyptAir Training Academy will study mechanisms for knowledge transfer and human capability development through joint training programs and the exchange of trainers and subject-matter experts in training, instructional design, and technical supervision.
They will develop an integrated training ecosystem aligned with international standards, including those of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).
Moreover, this partnership underscores SAL’s commitment to expanding its strategic partnerships with leading regional and international aviation institutions, ultimately advancing air transport training, strengthening the enabling infrastructure for logistics services, and supporting the objectives of Vision 2030.
