Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: OpenText, a leader in information management and secure AI for data, officially opened a new office in Riyadh, according to Executive Vice President of Security Products Muhi Majzoub.

The opening of the Riyadh office highlights OpenText’s commitment to its customers in Saudi Arabia and underscores Riyadh’s position as a “huge economic powerhouse in the region”, Majzoub stated in an interview with Asharq Business KSA.

He also emphasized OpenText’s commitment to its customers in the region in both the public and private sectors. “We are committed to continue serving them, supporting them, listening to them, and then delivering the demands they need. We will continue to co-innovate with many of our customers in Riyadh and other parts of Saudi Arabia.”

Majzoub noted that the company has over 60 global data centers in North America, Western Europe, and the Asia Pacific, serving hundreds of customers. He stated that the new office will enable OpenText to serve thousands of customers as Saudi Arabia opens up its trade and business capabilities to foreign investors, along with the entry of foreign companies into the Kingdom. “We are going to see many of them need the services we provide and the products and platforms we support.”

“Information and data are critical, and OpenText is the leader in how we can extract intelligence from information. Secure AI can only happen with information, and we have the ability to fulfill the customers’ needs through our platforms, products, and services,” Majzoub said.

He added: “The demand for us here in the region and the Kingdom is to be with hyperscalers. That is why all of our platforms and products are certified to run in all hyperscalers, and many of our customers are already leveraging those services.”

Based in Canada, OpenText is a leader in data and document management, supply chain, and other capabilities, including messaging, customer communication, and cybersecurity.
