
Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: The Saudi Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Company (EVIQ) signed a cooperation agreement with the Roads General Authority (RGA) to strengthen electric vehicles (EVs) charging infrastructure across the Kingdom’s roads.
Under the agreement, EVIQ and RGA will work together on identifying EV charging locations and aligning their designs with the Saudi Road Code and safety standards, according to a recent official statement.
This partnership is expected to improve the quality of services provided to road users by ensuring safety and environmental requirements, as well as safe access to charging stations.
EVIQ and RGA will conduct necessary studies and research, and leverage cutting-edge technologies to advance smart infrastructure and transportation systems and enhance readiness for autonomous driving vehicles.
