
Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (MODON) concluded six industrial, investment, and logistics contracts and memoranda of understanding (MoUs) to develop projects worth more than SAR 1.034 billion in Sudair City for Industry and Business.
The projects, spanning a total area of 671,000 square meters, aim to boost local content, localize strategic industries, and enhance supply chain efficiency to prompt the competitiveness of the industrial sector, according to an official statement released yesterday.
The agreements were signed in the presence of the Saudi Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Bandar Al-Khorayef, during his official visit to Sudair City.
The deals included an industrial contract with Jindal Saw and Buhur Altavision Company to establish a new facility spanning 540,000 square meters to localize the pipe industry, ultimately supporting manufacturing industries and enhancing the readiness of the national supply ecosystem.
STADA Saudi Arabia also inked an industrial contract worth SAR 366 million with MODON to develop a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility over an area of 23,000 square meters. The facility will be dedicated to supplying essential medicines for conditions such as heart disease and diabetes.
The authority signed an MoU with AJEX to strengthen logistics services in Sudair City. Through this partnership, AJEX will bring its logistics expertise to Sudair, supporting manufacturers, improving supply chain performance, and contributing to the continued growth of Saudi Arabia’s industrial sector.
Moreover, these agreements align perfectly with the objectives of the National Industrial Strategy (NIS) to establish an advanced industrial base, enhance local supply chain efficiency, and increase the contribution of the industrial sector to the national gross domestic product (GDP).
