Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: Sitecore, a global leader in AI-enabled digital experience software, announced the deployment of its next-generation platform SitecoreAI in Saudi Arabia, with plans for a sovereign deployment in the UAE later this year.

This milestone came as part of Sitecore’s strategy to strengthen its presence in the Middle East, according to the company’s recent statement.

SitecoreAI helps brands plan, create, personalize, and deliver content across every channel, including websites, applications, social, and beyond. Running on Microsoft Azure, SitecoreAI provides a single SaaS platform that unifies content management, customer data, and personalization into one intelligent system.

The company plans to start delivery from the Kingdom’s Eastern Province starting in the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2026, offering a clear, in-country path for running cloud and AI workloads locally, with data residency, low latency, and enterprise-grade security aligned with national requirements.

Danny Robinson, Chief Technology Officer at Sitecore, said: “We continue to invest in cloud and AI infrastructure across the Middle East, evolving Sitecore’s regional support alongside it. Through our co-innovation work done in partnership with our clients and our joint Innovation Lab with Microsoft, we are building SitecoreAI in step with how organizations are adopting AI. That helps customers modernize how they engage people without having to rethink their platform every time the technology changes.”

In the UAE, SitecoreAI will run locally with data residency and alignment to sovereign deployment requirements. Delivery is planned for later this year, supporting customers seeking to operate closer to their local market and regulatory environment.

“The complexity of sovereignty of data and IP has historically been a barrier for many organizations across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, UAE, and across the Gulf, to match their ambitions with the reality of what can be delivered locally. Sitecore’s commitment to Sovereign Cloud and investment in the Region removes that barrier and unlocks an exciting opportunity for our clients and prospects to move beyond their competitors in how they can serve their customers,” said Dave Tilbury, Chief Operating Officer at Sitecore.

With agentic tools and studios at its heart, SitecoreAI makes marketing faster, smarter, and more connected, enabling marketers and developers to collaborate with AI responsibly and effectively.
