Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: Driving the growth of the e-commerce ecosystem in Saudi Arabia stands as a core pillar of the National Transformation Program (NTP), in line with Saudi Vision 2030. This focus is driven by the pivotal role of e-commerce in strengthening the national economy, particularly given that the Kingdom ranks among the top 10 fastest-growing e-commerce markets.

The total number of existing e-commerce registers in the Kingdom reached 45,669 by the end of the first quarter (Q1) of 2026, marking a 9% increase from 41,800 registers in Q1-25, according to the business sector bulletin released by the Ministry of Commerce.

Riyadh Province accounted for the largest number of existing e-commerce registers at 20,039, followed by Makkah Province with 11,569 existing e-commerce registers.

The report also stated that the total number of existing commercial registers in Saudi Arabia rose by 1.3% to hit 1.89 million in Q1-26, compared to 1.86 million in Q4-25.
