Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Saudi Arabia inaugurated the regional headquarters of Lenovo for the Middle East, Turkey, and Africa in Riyadh, as part of efforts to strengthen the Kingdom’s position as a hub for global companies under Vision 2030.
As per the Saudi Press Agency, the launch Ceremony was led by Fahad AlSaif, who said Lenovo’s decision to establish its regional base in the Kingdom reflects the strength of Saudi Arabia’s economy and its increasingly attractive investment environment. He noted that the move highlights the success of the regional headquarters program in attracting multinational firms and enabling them to manage and expand their operations from Saudi Arabia.
From its new office, Lenovo plans to build an integrated presence in the local market in collaboration with national entities, supporting both regional growth and global demand. The company’s investments in the Kingdom include research and development initiatives, skills development programs, and the establishment of a manufacturing platform with an annual production capacity of up to 8 million units.
The development is expected to create high-quality jobs, support technology localization, and strengthen Saudi Arabia’s role in global tech value chains. It also aligns with the expansion of operations in Riyadh’s Integrated Logistics Zone, which continues to attract international companies seeking advanced regional operations.
