Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: The World Economic Forum (WEF) revealed that the AI-driven SUTAIN platform, launched in collaboration with the Saudi Ministry of Economy and Planning, is expected to unlock partnerships worth up to $20 billion in Saudi Arabia and $100 billion in the MENA region by 2030.
SUSTAIN is designed to support the objectives of the National Sustainable Development Blueprint, and serves organizations ranging from small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to corporations, academia, and government, according to an official statement by the WEF.
Users can find verified partners and vetted opportunities in SUSTAIN’s standardized listings and receive AI-enabled match recommendations to form partnerships with greater speed and confidence.
The platform enables opportunity owners to post their project details and their needs. The AI agent proposes high-quality matches to the opportunity owners, triggering outreach so participants can engage quickly.
By mobilizing capital and partnerships around defined national missions, the platform strengthens delivery at the country level, while contributing to global progress on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
In January, Saudi Arabia and WEF announced the launch of the SUSTAIN platform, in partnership with Bain & Company, to strengthen cross-sector collaboration and accelerate the delivery of sustainable development initiatives.
SUSTAIN translates the Kingdom’s public- and private-sector coordination mandate into a practical national tool that enables government entities, businesses, investors, academia, and civil society to identify credible partners, form trusted coalitions, and advance initiatives from planning to implementation more efficiently.
