Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: The Saudi Public Investment Fund (PIF) delivered strong financial performance in 2025, making continued progress against its long-term objectives. As a long-term investor with a unique commitment to drive the Kingdom’s economic transformation and deliver sustainable financial returns, the sovereign fund maintained a diversified portfolio that balanced financial gains with national impact and long-term resilience.
In its 2025 Annual Report, released today, the PIF showcased key milestones that cemented its position as one of the world's most influential sovereign wealth funds, from launching new giga-projects and deepening local supply chain integration to expanding its international investment portfolio.
In May 2025, the PIF announced the launch of HUMAIN, an AI company dedicated to advancing AI across the Kingdom and beyond. This launch represented a major step in advancing AI capabilities and solidifying the Kingdom's position as a leading AI hub. A month later, the PIF established the Expo 2030 Riyadh Company to build and operate the facilities of Expo 2030 Riyadh.
Locally, the investment fund continued to drive the Kingdom's economic transformation, deploying capital across priority sectors and ecosystems, with cumulative domestic investments amounting to more than SAR 750 billion (nearly $199 billion) between 2021 and 2025.
Globally, PIF deepened its strategic international partnerships last year, signing multiple agreements with the world’s leading asset managers, such as Goldman Sachs Asset Management, Macquarie Asset Management, SACE, and others, to drive capital mobilization and inward investment into Saudi Arabia.
To deepen engagement in priority markets, the fund expanded its global presence by opening new subsidiary company offices in Paris, Beijing and Shanghai, adding to PIF’s existing footprint in London, New York and Hong Kong.
Moreover, PIF continued to drive institutional development, embedding advanced data, analytics and AI across its operating model. Over the year, the sovereign fund launched 100 new digital applications and activated 43 high-impact AI-enabled solutions. This contributed to strengthening secure infrastructure and expanding centralized digital platforms that enhance investment insight, operational efficiency and institutional agility.
