
Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Saudi telecommunications provider Etihad Salam Telecom Company (Salam) announced it has entered a strategic partnership with Nutanix, a global provider of hybrid multi-cloud solutions, to offer private cloud infrastructure services to businesses across the Kingdom.
The three-year partnership was announced at LEAP 2026, where Salam participated as a strategic sponsor. Under the agreement, Salam will provide Private Cloud Infrastructure as a Service by combining its telecommunications network and knowledge of the Saudi market with Nutanix’s cloud technology, according to a recent press release.
The service will allow enterprises to access scalable and secure cloud infrastructure while maintaining greater control over their data and IT environments.
Abdullah Khorami, Chief Business Officer at Salam, said the partnership will enable the company to deliver private cloud solutions focused on performance, security and scalability.
Talal Al-Saif, Nutanix regional director for Saudi Arabia, said the collaboration aims to provide Saudi businesses with flexible IT solutions that support innovation and growth.
Worth noting that the fifth edition of the global technology event Leap 2026 took place from 31 August to 3 September at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in Malham, north of Riyadh.
