
Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: SAL Logistics Services, a Saudi cargo handling and logistics company, announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Huawei Tech Investment Saudi Arabia to explore collaboration in transportation, logistics, and digital transformation.
Signed in Shanghai in September 2026, the MoU aims to support the development of smart logistics solutions in the Kingdom by leveraging technologies including 5G, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and green energy, according to a recent press release.
The two parties will explore opportunities to digitalize logistics zones and improve operational efficiency through integrated technology solutions. The agreement also covers the potential establishment of an inventory and distribution hub to meet Huawei’s requirements in Saudi Arabia, leveraging SAL’s logistics network and operational capabilities.
In addition, SAL and Huawei will assess the possibility of SAL becoming an approved logistics services provider for Huawei in the Kingdom.
The collaboration combines SAL’s logistics and supply chain expertise with Huawei’s digital infrastructure capabilities, with the parties seeking to develop solutions that enhance logistics efficiency, accelerate digital transformation, and support business growth in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
