Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Hossam Heiba, CEO of the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI) said that the number of Egyptian businesses currently operating in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia witnessed a great breakthrough to reach over 4,000 companies.
This is believed to be a natural result of Saudi Arabia’s providing incentives to companies who are willing to relocate headquarters in the Kingdom and offering a healthy environment for businesses and investors to operate in the Saudi market, the official told Asharq Business.
Thanks to the Regional Headquarters (RHQ) Program, a joint initiative by the Ministry of Investment and the Royal Commission for Riyadh City, created as part of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and the National Investment Strategy, this number is eligible to increase within the coming period of time.
The program is originally designed to enable and facilitate the ambitious growth plans of participating organizations in the region.
