Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Saudi venture capital firm Impact46 has invested over SAR 25 million in five regional gaming studios—Fahy, NJD, Game Cooks, Starvania, and Alpaka—through its SAR 150 million Gaming Fund launched in March 2024.
According to a recent press release, the new portfolio companies span a spectrum of innovation, from culturally rooted mobile games to next-gen hybrid-casual action titles and immersive console/PC experiences, underscoring the depth of talent emerging from the MENA gaming ecosystem.
Basmah Alsinaidi, Managing Partner at Impact46 said: “We see gaming as more than a sector; it’s a language of youth, culture, and creation. Through these investments, we’re backing builders who are creating the infrastructure, stories, and platforms that define the next era of content in the region.”
This round follows Impact46’s early 2025 investments in Spoilz and Spekter Games, bringing its gaming portfolio to nine companies. The moves align with Saudi Arabia’s National Gaming and Esports Strategy and Vision 2030, as the Kingdom positions itself as a global hub for gaming and interactive entertainment.
Founded in 2019, Impact46 has been expanding its footprint in digital content and tech ventures, with the Gaming Fund aimed at fueling homegrown innovation and supporting the Kingdom’s growing creative economy.
