
Amman – Sharikat Mubasher: Replit, the fast-growing AI software creation platform, secured $250 million in fresh funding led by Prysm Capital, with participation from Google’s AI Futures Fund, Amex Ventures, YC, a16z, Craft, and others.
As per the company’s press release, the round values the company at $3 billion, nearly tripling its valuation since 2023.
The raise follows explosive growth, with Replit’s annualized revenue surging from $2.8 million to $150 million in under a year, supported by a global user base of more than 40 million. Enterprises including Zillow, Duolingo, and Coinbase use the platform to build apps.
Alongside the funding, Replit unveiled Agent 3, its most autonomous AI agent to date, capable of testing and fixing code, and creating custom workflows to automate complex tasks beyond software engineering. The company also announced that its products are now available via the Google Cloud Marketplace.
The new capital will be used to scale operations, accelerate product development, and drive global expansion as Replit positions itself as a leading agentic AI platform.
