Dubai – Sharikat Mubasher: Rocket Doctor AI announced it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Alea Health, the UAE-based healthtech company specializing in AI-powered mental health services.
As per a recent press release, the deal gives Rocket Doctor AI full ownership of Alea, marking its first major entry into the Gulf’s fast-growing digital health market.
Alea operates a proprietary online therapy platform that uses conversational AI, voice analysis, and a 24/7 mental-health coach technology already deployed in the UAE and positioned to scale across the GCC, where up to $170 billion in AI healthcare investment is expected by 2030.
The acquisition integrates Alea’s tools with Rocket Doctor AI’s Global Library of Medicine, strengthening its mental-health capabilities and advancing its strategy to embed conversational AI into primary care.
Essam Hamza, Rocket Doctor AI CEO, said the deal accelerates the company’s push to deliver unified AI-driven care while establishing a crucial footprint in the Middle East.
The transaction includes a cash payment, share issuance, and the assumption of Alea’s SAFE note, and remains subject to regulatory approvals.
