
Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: The Saudi Esports Federation (ESF) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Banque Saudi Fransi (BSF), one of the leading banks in Saudi Arabia, to deepen cooperation between the financial sector and the esports industry in the Kingdom.
Under the MoU, both organizations will collaborate to integrate advanced digital services and systems to streamline the gaming ecosystem’s financial operations, according to the official statement.
They will also explore sponsorship opportunities for major initiatives and tournaments, as well as the provision of specialized executive banking services to the Saudi Esports Federation.
Rawan AlButairi, CEO of the Saudi Esports Federation, said the partnership marks an important step in bridging the Kingdom’s financial excellence with the rapid evolution of the esports sector. “Together we are building a robust, sustainable economic engine that ensures our esports ecosystem is supported by the sophisticated financial infrastructure and digital innovation necessary to cement our position as a premier global hub for competitive gaming,” she added.
In turn, Mashhour Al-Masoudi, senior vice president of Retail Banking at BSF, commented: “Through this partnership, we aim to deliver advanced financial solutions and services that enable the sector to achieve its objectives and accelerate its growth, supporting the advancement of the digital economy in the Kingdom.”
The partnership advances the Saudi Esports Federation’s efforts to accelerate the development of the Kingdom’s esports industry by securing strategic partnerships that utilize cutting-edge technology to drive ecosystem growth. It also drives economic diversification by bridging the gap between the finance industry and the future of digital entertainment, in line with the objectives of Vision 2030 and the National Gaming and Esports Strategy.
